NEWMARKET TAVERN'S COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY
We wish to reassure you that the health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority, now more than ever. While we are still here to offer our warm smile, our welcoming atmosphere and quality product, we have created some new “contactless” measures that guarantee you a safe and enjoyable experience at the venue:
• Our tables are all distanced to be 1.5 metres apart, to give you the space you need to dine safely and comfortably.
• You will find hand sanitiser available throughout the venue.
• Please use hand sanitiser provided prior to entry of the venue.
• Cutlery and condiments will be brought to the table with your meal.
• Water stations have been removed from our bars. Water will be brought to your table.
• When paying we recommend that you go cashless and use your card for payment.
• Common touch points such as the loyalty kiosk have been removed. Contactless cash out will still be available. The cash out machine will be cleaned/sanitised on regular basis.
• You will find signs at each entrance outlining our new capacities to allow for social distancing within each room.
• At present visitation to our venue is strictly by booking only. We have created hourly time slots available for bookings (currently maximum of 20 persons per time slot) with a 15 minutes cleaning period in between bookings. The maximum number of patrons per table will be 6.
• All staff wash their hands or use sanitiser at regular intervals.
• All staff have been issued with and will follow the relevant government guidelines.
• All rooms are sanitised daily by means of an electrostatic sprayer or fogging machine.
• We have increased our cleaning & hygiene regime.
• Government regulations require us to take name and contact number for each customer.
• If you feel unwell, we ask that you please do not visit our venue.
• Whilst we understand that some of our patrons consider the venue’s staff to be almost like family, we kindly request that you refrain from physical contact with our staff. Unfortunately this means no shaking of hands and/or hugs.
• Floor distancing markers have been installed in order to practice social distancing.
• Certain areas have been fitted with sneeze guards for the safety of our staff.
• All staff have completed a course in Infection Control Training – COVID-19.
